hand

OK well in my English class we were reading The Pearl by John Steinbeck and on the cover there was a man holding up a pearl and i was using it as a reference and once i drew it once it kinda stuck in my head so here i drew what i remembered drawing i still need to work on some things but hey i'm learning and i'm not even taking an art class i think i work better if i just teach myself with practice. i used a very thin layer of color to make it pop out a bit since plain white is boring.
